The latest version of our Windows application includes some stability and bug fixes but, more importantly, it’s so much faster!
Highlights include:
- A new technique is used to display book content. Interactions with book content such as scrolling, loading pages, creating highlights, and adding bookmarks should now be smoother and faster.
- Books in PDF format that contain a preface (meaning they don’t start at page 1) will no longer have a page number offset problem. This means that previously, if a book’s early pages were labelled with characters like roman numerals, those page numbers would be added to the total causing page 1 to appear as some other page number (e.g. page 32).
- The usual general fixes that increase stability and prevent crashes.
