  3. I got an error message when I tried to download an eText to my device. Why?

Error message when downloading an eText to a device

The most likely reason is that you have already downloaded the book onto the maximum number of devices permitted. Each eText can only be stored on a limited number of devices at one time, determined by the publisher.

Delete the book from one of your other devices and then try your download again. The book and all notes/highlights you have made in it will remain in the cloud, associated with your account, so you can re-download it later if necessary.
